Data Sanitization and Destruction
Asset Recovery Corporation provides an array of secure data sanitization and destruction services. Our services ensure the elimination of sensitive data and intelligence from a wide range of equipment including hard drives, servers, printers, copiers, networking equipment, personal technology and mobile phones.
We protect the identity and integrity of our clients by removing all trace-of-origin identifiers on retired equipment including asset tags, embedded security devices, market labeling and corporate branding.
Asset Recovery Corporation can safeguard against attempts of reuse or data recovery by completely destroying integrated circuits, RAM, tapes, disks and other media to prevent the recovery of proprietary parts, equipment, designs or other material.
Our On-Site Security Service is available throughout North America and can lessen the workload of your in-house program while ensuring security and accountability at your site.
Asset Recovery Corporation can supply clients with data sanitization and destruction reports that contain hard drive serial numbers, the sanitization or destruction date and the name of the technician along with confirmation the service was rendered.
Asset Recovery Corporation is one of a very small number of companies in the United States currently NAID-Certified for Computer and Hard Drive Sanitization Operation, including mobile and plant-based hard drive destruction.
Remarketing
Asset Recovery Corporation can help organizations reclaim the maximum value from re-sellable equipment by working with clients to identify the right channels including end-user, reseller or wholesale markets either domestically or abroad.
Through the Microsoft® Registered Refurbisher program, we can reload PCs, laptops and servers with genuine Windows® software, enabling us to recover more secondary market value for our customers.
Our remarketing professionals can assist with developing additional value-generating solutions for clients as well, including reducing new equipment purchases by repurposing and redeploying technology internally, organizing employee sales or the charitable donation of reusable assets to a chosen organization.
Logistics

Our drivers and contractors have extensive experience protecting retired technology. We will take all the appropriate measures to ensure items are loaded professionally and quickly for safe travel to our processing center or another location.
Equipment Recycling
Asset Recovery Corporation's Recycle IT Right® service reclaims reusable materials and components and neutralizes sensitive wastes to protect your environmental liability.
The process of recycling electronics requires the use of downstream processors who focus on particular waste streams, such as CRT glass, circuit boards, and batteries. To properly manage environmental and legal risks, Asset Recovery Corporation regularly conducts downstream traceability reviews of all of its certified processing partners managing sensitive materials.
Asset Recovery Corporation's recycling practices meet the industry's highest standard and have received R2 (Responsible Recycling) Certification through ANAB-accredited certification body, SGS. In addition, we maintain ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Certification from SGS for the environmentally responsible recycling of electronic waste including the de-manufacture and resale of electronics as well as the separation of material into commodities.
Organizations are provided with a Certificate of Recycling for every lot processed. Each certificate includes a lot number unique to each load, a guarantee that all equipment is processed within compliance of all applicable environmental laws including CERCLA (Superfund), RCRA, EPA CRT Rule and all local, state and federal guidelines.
